The Making of a Book Cover
In April of 07, Kirk DouPonce with Dog Eared Design—a studio which focuses almost exclusively on book covers—gave Novel Journey what is perhaps one of my most favorite interviews. If you haven’t read it yet, [Click Here].
Don’t ask me why, but I’m an absolute fan of book covers—I think they can absolutely make or break a book. Whether you’re on Amazon, or at the bookstore, the cover grabs you first.
I was thrilled to discover today that Dog Eared Design is now offering tutorials for both designers and writers who are curious about the typical book cover design process. The price is very reasonable. They haven’t launched them yet, but those interested can visit Dog Eared Design and sign up to receive to a discount when they are available!
